Release Round-Up for the Week of September 19

Halo: Reach?  That’s sooo last week.  If the glint of your MJOLNIR armor has lost a bit of its sheen, there are a couple brand new titles that may interest you.  Death Spank: Thongs of Virtue for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is the downloadable sequel to a hack-and-slash action game that came out a mere two months ago.  But the big game for this week is Sid Meier’s Civilization V, the highly anticipated installment to the classic turn-based strategy game that first premiered twenty years ago.
