Bungie and Microsoft released a brand new campaign-focused trailer today for the highly anticipated Halo: Reach.

Entitled “The Battle Begins”, the first scene has Team Noble in a Pelican as they fly past Covenant battle cruisers.  The next scene suggests large scale encounters with Warthogs and Hornets as a group of Banshees fire on them, sending at least one Warthog flying end over end.

After a dramatic jump from a Covenant platform to an awaiting Pelican, we see a flight through a burning city. The next view of a red-armored Elite is more menacing than what we’ve known from the Arbiter.

The most interesting part comes near the end where we see a Spartan staring off into the distance as he lets dog tags dangle from his left hand. What’s this? Could it be that a member of Noble team may not make it? We’ll have to find out when Halo: Reach drops September 14.
