Batman fanboys can finally relax, the collectors edition of Batman: Arkham Origins was announced today and it looks amazing! It is available to preorder now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $119.00. It will include:

  • Joker statue with LED effects made by the talented people at TriForce (9″ x 13″ x 11.5″)
  • 80-page, full-color hardcover artbook
  • Two pieces of evidence from Gotham PD
  • Batman Wanted Poster
  • Batwing Prototype Schematic
  • Anarky logo stencil
  • Glow-In-The-Dark map of Gotham City
  • Wayne Family Photo
  • Assassin’s Intel Dossier including files on the 8 assassins and the Black Mask’s contract
  • 1st Appearance Batman Skin: Look just like Batman did during his first appearance in Detective Comics #27
  • Deathstroke Challenge Pack - Play as Deathstroke throughout all the Arkham Origins Challenge maps. Also includes two bonus challenge maps and two bonus Deathstroke Skins.
  • North America bonus: Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics. A feature-length documentary focusing on DC Comics villains.
  • PS3 Bonus: Knightfall pack

So basically it is chock-full of goodies to display on our walls and shelves. Though I must admit, I kind of want the Batman and Joker statue that is coming along with the UK version of the Batman: Arkham Origins Collector Edition (Displayed below). Is it too much to ask to have both?

But if I can’t have both, then I will just have to settle for getting the Batman: Arkham Origins Grapnel Replica made by NECA. For a mere $34.99 I could be shooting this thing at my husband when it’s his turn to change a diaper, or just for fun as I hide in the shadows while he sleeps.

Either way, there are plenty of new Batman toys to be collected and displayed in your home. Batman: Arkham Origins will be available October 25, 2013 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U. Along side it will be the portable spin off Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate coming to Nintendo 3Ds and PlayStation Vita.
