Seth Killian Leaves Capcom

“Thank You” was the short, mysterious tweet from Seth Killian, Capcom Community Manager.  The link in the tweet directed me to Seth’s blog on the Capcom-Unity site. To my surprise and disappointment, his blog entry was the announcement that Friday, June 22, will be his last day at Capcom.

In his post, Killian summarized his rise from Street Fighter fandom to Capcom employee, working on the series he loved. He also thanked several colleagues as well as the Street Fighter fans.

He has been a vocal Street Fighter IV evangelist and an enabler for the fighting game community as a whole.  Whether it’s the regular attendance at industry events or providing color commentary at competitions like EVO, his influence has been felt.  His absence will have just as strong an impact.

As he pursues a new dream, we, at The Married Gamers, wish him the best of luck for the future.
