Bolt Creative has just released a comic book based on the best selling iPhone game: Pocket God issue #1.  The app sells for $0.99 and future comics in the series will be available as in-app purchases.  The miniseries will chronicle the adventures and mischief of the much beloved tribe of Pygmies.  The pranksters Ooga, Klik, and the rest of the gang are subject to the whims and cruel twists of fate brought down by the Gods.  The story will describe many of the dangers that face the tribe.  Many of the same ones faced in the iPhone game such as: falling objects, sudden lightning strikes, sharks with laser beams, and many more.  Despite all of these fatal tragedies, these guys magically return over and over to try and survive the next attack.

The CEO of Bolt Creative, Dave Castelnuovo states:

Pocket God has been a huge success on the iOS platform and we’re excited to bring the hilarity and fun to a whole new medium.  We’re certain fans of the game will get a kick out of this new comic series and, vice versa, we can’t wait to show the comic world our universe full of death inducing satire.
