NeverRealm Studios, the creators of the iconic fighting game franchise Mortal Kombat and DC Comics have teamed together to produce the upcoming game Injustice: Gods Among Us. In their latest trailer the NeverRealm developers discuss the challenges and excitement of creating the game.
This game will pit classic DC heroes and villains against each other in epic combat. DC has allowed NeverRealm a bit of creative license to create a darkly antagonistic universe where heroes will wage war against each other and villains will become even more evil. The folks at NeverRealm explain, “Heroes and villains will engage in epic battles on a massive scale in a world where the line between good and evil has been blurred.” It’s the perfect opportunity to settle all those “Who would win…” questions between friends.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is planned for release in April 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U.
