Start saving up your sick days! The launch date for Halo 4 has been announced! On November 6, 2012 we get to continue Master Chief’s saga in Halo 4. Set three years after Halo 3, we find Master Chief floating through space and discovering a new risk to the universe. It’s now up to us to save the universe again! Not much has been said about the story, but with 343 Industries behind the reins, Halo 4 won’t disappoint all you loyal fans.
Phil Spencer, corporate VP of Microsoft Studios, commented on the news by stating, “We are beginning a new saga with ‘Halo 4′ and embarking on a journey that will encompass the next decade of ‘Halo’ games and experiences. Millions of fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step back into the boots of Master Chief, and, with ‘Halo 4′ leading the charge, we’re confident 2012 will be the most successful year in Xbox history.”
Late night host Conan O’Brien will help celebrate the launch of “Halo 4″ with a special segment on “Conan” tonight on TBS at 11 p.m. PDT/10 p.m. CDT. In addition, Red vs. Blue has also jumped in to create two announcement trailers. Get ready to preorder folks, Halo 4 will be here before you know it and we can finally continue the fight with Master Chief!
