So is there anyone Capcom WON’T cram into a fighting game these days? Don’t get me wrong, I love the Street Fighter games and I’m a huge geek for the Marvel vs. Capcom games, and I love the fact that there are always characters that surprise me when they make their appearances … but still, this one takes the cake.
Capcom just released a new trailer spotlighting all the exclusive fighters coming the the PS3 and PS Vita versions of its upcoming collaboration with Namco Bandai, Street Fighter X Tekken. After previously announcing that Cole MacGrath from Sony’s hit inFAMOUS series would be duking it out with the likes of Ryu and Heihachi alongside Toro and Kuro, two of Sony’s feline mascots in Japan, Capcom pulled two more quirky characters out of its hat for Sony lovers … and they have to be seen to be believed.

That’s right … not only will video game icon Pac-Man be joining the roster of available fighters in Street Fighter X Tekken, but so will Mega Man. Only this isn’t the Blue Bomber we’ve all grown to know and love. Instead, Capcom is digging deep and dusting off Mega Man as he first appeared in the North American box art of his 1987 debut for the Nintendo Entertainment System.
So, are these five unusual new exclusive fighters enough to make the PS3 version of Street Fighter X Tekken THE version to pick up? I guess we’ll find out when the game hits retail on March 6th.
